Mahindra launches ‘G75 Smart’ motor grader at EXCON 2022

Mahindra Construction Equipment (MCE), part of Mahindra Group has launched the new RoadMaster G75 Smart at EXCON 2022 in Bangalore.

Jalaj Gupta, Business Head, Mahindra & Mahindra Commercial Vehicles Business Unit, said, “The Mahindra Roadmaster G75 smart motor grader is designed and developed based on the deep insights needed by small road contractors in India.

We aim to free small contractors from sub-optimal grading practices and to enable them to upgrade to mechanization and participate in nation building.

The brand-new G75 smart motor grader is a highly reliable machine with low ownership and operating costs. Our existing Roadmaster range of motor graders already has a market share of over 20 per cent, and we are confident that the G75 Smart will further strengthen our position in India when it comes to small road construction, which accounts for about 60 per cent of the country’s roads. “

Roadmaster G75 offers smart road contractors solutions for scattering and grading applications for rural, semi-rural and district roads, land development, inland housing and commercial roads. It enables small road contractors to participate in projects including government programs such as Smart City, as well as grading requirements for PMGSY roads.

The company says it offers affordable mechanization to small contractors and the opportunity to install a registered motor grader on small projects. It is powered by a 74 hp Mahindra CRDi engine with a 3 m (10 ft) wide blade and iMAXX telematics solution. This tool has been optimized to provide zero compromise grading at a slightly higher price than tractor graders but is still a fraction compared to conventional motor graders.
